One Parramatta Square is the New Flagship of the Western Sydney University’s Parramatta City Campus.
The building is a PCA A-grade space and covers 26,500sqm over 14 levels with highly integrated space with inter-floor connectivity within levels of the building. A central atrium will connect the podium floors. The southern façade provides visual connectivity and direct access to the occupants of the building into Parramatta Square. A roof terrace provides a break out area with exceptional views to the north and the east
The building’s design was the result of an international competition won by Architectural firm Architectus and is due for completion in late 2016 for the first semester of University in early 2017. the building is targeting 5 Star Green Star Education v1 – Design and As-built ratings.
Project engagement on this project was in the following areas:
Meld Strategies was approached by the Western Sydney University (WSU) to develop a high level Technology Masterplan relating to the workplace and teaching fitout.
Our role was to assist the client in gaining a better understanding the key elements that could be included in a technology Masterplan. The outputs were a vision, mission, guiding principles and a summary presentation highlighting various technologies and capabilities.
