This Project

DUO at Central Park was designed by Foster + Partners, one of today’s most prestigious and progressive architecture firms, with a sound reputation defined by artistry, innovation and ecological sensitivity.

DUO—A monumental structure that is set to join a league of the world’s most recognised architectural works by an acclaimed industry leader. It will consist of 313 stylish modern apartments, a boutique hotel and dynamic commercial spaces.

DUO provides an indoor pool, multi-function recreation room, cardio room, lounge, yoga and recreation rooms.

DUO is a GBCA 5 Star Green Star residential apartment building. It is connected to Central Park’s Central Thermal Plant and Tri-generation facility which provides efficient, low emission, domestic hot water and thermal energy for space heating and cooling across the precinct. Central Park’s on-site recycled water treatment plant provides water for irrigation, washing machines and toilet flushing.

Scope

The scope for this project was to provide a Concept Design for the arrangement of a GPON based Fibre to the Premise network and a Building Automation Systems, based upon the strategy developed from the Meld assessment of One Central Park.
